I didn’t set out to start a brand.
I set out to create something that could change the way we see childhood — something gentle, something healing, something that spoke to both the child and the parent.
You see, I’ve always been fascinated by psychology and how our early years shape who we become. The way we were spoken to. The way our feelings were (or weren’t) held. The way we learned what love meant.
And while healing as adults is possible — and powerful — I’ve come to believe that the real magic starts earlier.
We talk a lot about “breaking cycles,” but what if we didn’t have to break what was never broken in the first place?
What if we raised children with the kind of emotional understanding and safety we often had to seek out later in life?
That’s the heart of Aimee Rose Little Readers.
It started with feelings...
Like many parents, I watched my own children experience big emotions — and I noticed how often our instinct is to fix, distract, or quiet those feelings. But the truth is, children don’t need us to fix their feelings. They need us to honour them.
They need to hear,

That’s when I began writing stories. Gentle ones. Emotional ones. The kind that act as both comfort and conversation starters.
Stories that give children language for what they feel, and give parents tools to respond with empathy instead of overwhelm.

Aimee Rose Little Readers is rooted in the belief that parenting isn’t just about physical care — it’s about emotional care too.
Our words matter.
Our tone matters.
The way we respond in the hard moments? That matters most of all.
Many parents don’t realise the depth of their influence — not out of neglect, but simply because they were never shown another way.
My hope is that through my stories and posts, parents start to see.
Start to understand.
Start to choose connection.
And in doing so, raise children who grow up feeling emotionally safe, seen, and supported.
